General Bottle Supply, Inc. is a distributor of all kinds of containers, in sizes from 1/2-dram vials to 5-gallon pails. They deal in glass, plastic and metal containers with closures appropriate for use in a wide variety of packaging applications; including food, cosmetics, industrial supplies, etc. They also supply specialized sealing configurations, and can provide for labeling and silk screening if required. The Web application we created for them is a comprehensive catalog that allows them to display the thousands of containers & closures they carry on their Web site. It gives them the ability to change pricing of this wide spectrum of products in a very granular fashion. The Web display of their products is not only intended for the public to access on the Internet, but as a primary goal of this project, is intended to be used by their warehouse staff to assist walk in customers in selecting the right products for their application, and to provide up to date pricing.
