Sacramento Metropolitan Utility District (SMUD) has several installations of facilities that produce solar generated electricity that they then sell to their customers, along with the conventionally generated power. We worked as part of a team to collect performance data from the photovoltaic (PV) systems that produce the solar generated power, then display in on SMUD's Intranet so they could monitor the performance of those facilities. This system allows them to closely monitor how efficient those systems.
